Children’s Ministry Coordinator (15 hours per week)

Mt. Olive Lutheran Church (ELCA), Hickory, NC   

We are seeking a Children’s Ministry Coordinator for birth through 5^th grade. How do the youngest among us grow in faith through believing, belonging, and serving? Mt. Olive is seeking to call or hire a warm, creative, and energetic leader who would enjoy exploring this question with us.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting volunteers;
• Knowing legal responsibilities for keeping children safe;
• Managing our children’s ministry environment & resources;
• Keeping up with curriculum needs;
• Leading a team who creates events that engage children
• Most importantly – “equipping God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12)
